A PADI Rescue Diver Course will test your ability to solve problems under pressure and give you the tools to spot and deal with difficult situations before they develop into full-blown crisis.
With its emphasis on prevention, self-rescue, and the importance of managing situations effectively, the Rescue Diver Course will equip you to deal with a wide range of typical problems, making you a better buddy, and increasing your confidence as a diver.
Must:
- Be at least 12 yo
- Be a certified Advanced OW diver
- Be medically fit to dive
- Have a recognized First aid and CPR certificate with 24 months validity

What to expect during your PADI Rescue diver course
Your knowledge development will be done online with the aid of e-learning materials prior to your course starting. Then once completed your instructor will introduced you to and help you learn to develop various rescue skills.
Certification
Once all the training has been completed and the instructor is happy with your standard he will sign you off as a Rescue diver.
You will get an e-card sent to your email stating that you have passed the PADI Rescue diver course.
Do the Emergency First Response (EFR) course on Koh Tao
An Emergency First Response (EFR) Course is a requirement for doing the PADI Rescue course. Some people may already have this certification due to their job and would not need to redo it with us, but most people will have to do the course.
It consists of basic first aid skills you would need to know will test your ability to solve problems under pressure and give you the tools to spot and deal with difficult situations before they develop into full-blown crisis.
